murals and private commissioned paintings. John Douglas is
in the midst of creating an impressive body of work, and
this site is where you can see it all!
John's
portfolio covers a full spectrum, from celebrity portraits (commissioned
by Merv Griffin for his renowned Beverly Hilton hotel), to
an eclectic range of custom drum
kits for artists like ZZ Top, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Red
Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi, Creed, Kid Rock and many others.
His flamboyant guitar designs can
be experienced throughout Peavey's EVH Custom Shop line,
as well as around the necks of a number of world class guitarists
who have personally commissioned John to do his magic on
their prized axes.
Many
of his other paintings, which run the gamut from cars and
bikes that appear to race off the canvas to his majestic
depictions of elephants, tigers and snakes ( all featured
in the main gallery ), are
often either private commissions or sold to collectors through
the various art galleries around the country that have featured
John's work.
